Essentially, the teaching of the Sith such as exploiting, domination, passion, selfishness, darkness, fury for life and anger are the source of strength, and thus advancement and growth in the philosophy itself. To feed ones anger and emotions is the greatest source of power, said a powerful Sith Lord. This is pretty pretty much the way of feeding the shadow side of humanity and helping one’s further development and growth, love and hate that is behind all self-development and desire that is behind growth.

But is this not what humans are made of? Greed and fear, selfishness and desire for greatness and immortality… these are all innate human properties. The Sith acknowledge this and do not deny their importance as the Jedi do… the Sith instead look beyond the tunnel into a wider vision to see that only if we accept our “guile” and “love or hate for self-development”, embrace our nature where it empowers us, aim to conquer the part of ourselves that’s shown to be a inhibiting form of restriction, boundaries and limitation, and harness the primalism and darkness within, can we only achieve true power.

That is why the Sith are powerful, yet evil. It is only an evolutionary trait that we seek the desire to compete, to conquer… to take on, overtake and takeover. Only through these can we transcend and advance our species. That is what the Sith Code meant by “The Force shall free me”. Everything about the Sith in fact emphasis Species advancement and evolution.

Primalism and darkness within is often called “evilness” by the Jedi who never knew it what its purpose is, the purpose of breaking the chains and becoming a complete and healthy being, living to achieve in a meritocracy that acknowledges strength of character, resilience and fortitude, and that speaks to us within to ascend evolutionarily beyond human limitation whether it be nurture or nature. The character we play is a role or post that we excel at, that if those traits are refined and embodied will aid in our evolution, particularly through hardwork, effort, persistence, self-discipline that is hard to match and through alot of competition, this being a form of rivalry.

The infighting between Sith Lords around in the fictional literature meant that only the strongest could accept the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. The rule of two implied that every apprentice will have to defeat their masters in order to succeed them; successive Sith Lords are stronger than before. It is this competition that fueled their strength and action and hierarchy actualized their growing power and craving for it.
